Off Stream collaborates with ten museums in four cities of Greece promoting the equal inclusion of people with disabilities in the experience of Art.
From 12 of October till 7 of December 2023, ten collaborating museums in Greece become “meeting points“, where we will gather around a selected artwork to discover its characteristics, get to know the history of its creator and collectively compose its creative audio description, through a participatory process.
The collaborating museums are:
MOMus-Museum of Contemporary Art, MOMus-Museum Alex Mylona, ΕΜΣΤ | National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens, Museum of Cycladic Art, MOMus-Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Contemporary Art ‘Constantin Xenakis’, Teloglion Foundation of Arts A.U.Th., B&E Goulandris Foundation, MOMus-Thessaloniki Museum of Photography and Municipal Gallery of Larissa – G. I. Katsigras Museum.
Each of the 75-minute long public events are addressed equally to adults with and without disabilities. All events are conducted in Greek language providing interpretation in Greek Sign Language and tactile aids.

The creative audio descriptions resulting from the Meeting Points participatory events will form the basis for a collection of inclusive postcards, curated by Off Stream and designed by artist Hichem Merouche, copies of which will be available in the gift-shops of the participating museums.
These fully inclusive postcards will offer much more than a visual arts “panorama” to representative artworks from Greek museums, providing the participating museums with resources to expand the accessibility of their collections.
Meeting Points is a project by Off Stream implemented in collaboration with 10 Greek museums under the auspices and with the financial support of the Greek Ministry of Culture.
The events at the B&E Goulandris Foundation and at the Contemporary Art Museum ‘Constantin Xenakis’ are implemented with a donation from the Ioannis S. Latsis Foundation within the framework of the “Points of Support” program co-financed by 10 charitable organizations.
