Creative Audio Description
The work “In the making” by Iro-Sophia Papagiannopoulou is an installation created through the participation and interaction of the public as part of the Making Sense project (Ioannina, 2024). It consists of a piece of fabric placed over clay, bearing the imprints of audience engagement. Through movements and gestures, participants left their mark on the work, using pigments and molds provided to activate this interactive installation.
“In the making” functions as a capture of this momentary action, engaging with the notion of the walk as a process of gradual discovery and interaction. A gesture of proximity, a negotiation between matter and the human trace.
