Playful Public Spaces: Placemaking for Engagement & Local Change

On 11 June 2026, Off Stream will participate in the online event “Playful Public Spaces: Placemaking for Engagement & Local Change”, co-organised by the Culture for Change network and STIPO Greece as part of the New European Bauhaus Festival 2026 Satellite Events.

Drawing on examples from its work, Off Stream will explore how art, participation and accessibility practices can contribute to activating public spaces and fostering more open and inclusive communities. The event will bring together different approaches to placemaking and public space design, highlighting the role of creativity, play and collective action in strengthening social cohesion and local engagement. The event will also feature presentations by STIPO Greece and the team Among the Ants (moment Creative).
