Meeting Points in Public Space
Meeting Points move beyond museums and artists’ studios, bringing their unique inclusive approach to experiencing art into Thessaloniki’s public space.

From 16 to 30 September 2026, three sculptures along Thessaloniki’s New Waterfront become places of encounter, inclusion and discovery. Through three participatory and inclusive public events, adults with and without disabilities will explore a selected artwork by engaging different senses and, through dialogue and shared reflection, collaboratively craft its creative description.
The creative descriptions developed by participants will be recorded in Greek and English, produced as videos in Greek Sign Language and International Sign and made permanently available next to the sculptures through inclusive QR code signage, enriching the experience of every visitor of the New Waterfront.
