SITEM 2026: Accessibility and Shared Cultural Experiences
Participation in panel discussion | Wednesday 25 March 2026, Paris, France
SITEM 2026, the 30th International Museum, Heritage and Cultural Tourism Fair, took place on 25 and 26 March 2026 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. Bringing together museum professionals, cultural organisations, researchers and creative practitioners from across the world, the event offered two days of talks, exhibitions and professional exchange focused on the future of museums and cultural experiences. As one of the leading international events dedicated to museums, heritage and cultural innovation, this year’s edition explored topics related to accessibility, audience engagement, digital mediation and new approaches to cultural participation

On Wednesday, March 25, we had the pleasure of participating in the panel discussion “From accessibility to shared cultural experience: how to design mediation tools with and for all audiences?” organised by Art Explora Foundation, alongside representatives from Thames Festival Trust and professionals working in digital design and digital accessibility. Representing Off Stream, Stela Anastasaki presented the Meeting Points project and our broader practice around inclusive and participatory cultural experiences, contributing to a wider discussion on accessibility by design and the creation of shared cultural experiences for diverse audiences. We would like to warmly thank the organisers for the invitation and their trust.
