Takis – Energy Spaces
The museum-educational boxes of Mind’s Eye in the periodic exhibition “Takis – Energy Spaces” at MOMus-Museum Alex Mylona curated by Katerina Syroglou.
The exhibition “Takis – Energy Spaces” included the interactive museum-educational boxes designed and created by Katerina Bakaliou in the context of Mind’s Eye project for the interpretation of the artworks Sonic (1965), Signals (1974) and Musical (1977) by Takis.
Each box “accompanies” the original artwork and makes it accessible to persons with visual impairment.
As part of the exhibition, Off Stream coordinated group visits of visually impaired people in collaboration with the Center for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind.
On the occasion of the International White Cane Day (October 15), Off Stream designed and implemented the event “Traversing Energy Spaces” two inclusive guided tours addressed to people with and without visual impairment at the artworks of the periodic exhibition as well as the interactive museum-educational boxes.
