Seminar on Inclusive Digital Communication

Mystery 137: Transition towards Professional Solidarity, 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture
Friday 08 March 2024

How can an organisation’s or a project’s information reach all persons equally? And why is inclusive communication now considered essential?
As part of Mystery 137: Transition to Professional Solidarity and upon invitation from the Culture for Change network, Off Stream co-founder Christina Vlachou conducted the seminar Inclusion in Communication: Innovative Practices and Tools for network members and the audience of 2023 Eleusis, European Capital of Culture.
Through simple steps and exercises, participants gained an understanding of key tools that enhance accessibility for persons with sensory impairments in digital communication channels, including various social media platforms, newsletter services and digital files.

A woman with blonde hair and white clothes stands next to a small table while addressing to an audience. On her right there is a projection screen where on a bright green background is written in black letters: Importance of Inclusion in Communication. In the background there is a beige wall with embossed elements.
On green grass and flowers members of the CforC network pose in front of an artwork. It is an iron structure that supports white letters forming the phrase: As lovely as here, it could never be in paradise. Behind the installation is a factory and a bright the blue sky
